Georgians are much more ready and especially dangerous
At APOEL they know that if they qualify for the playoffs of the Conference League they will face the winner of Ghent – Pogon, but to get there they will first have to pass the obstacle of Dila Gori and there alone, they are focused.
Today (7/8) and tomorrow Tuesday (8/8) there will be regular training sessions and late on Tuesday evening the team of the blue and yellow team will depart on a chartered flight to Tbilisi where on Thursday (10/08, 20:00) it will be held the first encounter with the Georgians.
Ricardo Sa Pinto is working methodically on tactical matters and expects his team to perform significantly better than the matches against Vojvodina. Dila Gori, in relation to the Serbs, is much more ready, having played 22 games so far and this makes her particularly dangerous.
As for the Portuguese coach's plan, we believe that there will be no changes except and if Marquinios is preferred for the left end of the attack, instead of Wilson. At the other end will certainly be Fetfatzidis and at the top of the attack the captain of the team, Giorgi Kvilitaia, who shows tremendous mood for a very effective season.
In midfield, (as well as in defense), we appreciate that nothing will change. Kostandinov will have the role of the blocking midfielder (Petrovic is now also ready), Dalcio will have a freer role and Sarfo will again be the organizer of the game.
With Chebak doing very well games against the Serbs and earn a place in the starting line-up, the defense is not going to change. Belec, who was excellent in Novi Sad, will be in goal, Susic on the right wing and Cebak on the left. The reliable Crespo-Dvali duo will once again be in the center of the defensive line.
