Bosnian ready to compete as central defender
APOEL's preparation for Saturday's match against AEZ at GSP is completed. The “blue and yellow” want to continue their victories and good performances, against an opponent that has shown that it can make it difficult for everyone.
In the purely competitive part, Sa Pinto, will not be available of the suspended Crespo (fill in the cards), while even if Dvali finds himself in the mission, he will not be able to help substantially due to his great abstinence.
On top of that, the Portuguese coach has two options for Petrovic's partner. Initially, there is the solution of Karamanolis who played in three league games this year (two as a starter, one against AEZ in the first round), while on the other hand there is the option of Susic, who this season played four more times in the specific position.
Indeed, the scenario that wants Susic to be Crespo's replacement seems to gather the most possibilities. The Bosnian had played in the two games against Ghent as a central defender in a back three, while both in the derby with Omonia and in the game with Doxa he played as a right stopper in a back four.
Certainly Susic did not can step into Crespo's shoes (as well as anyone in this year's championship), but the Portuguese coach believes he can cope with this role.
