An announcement informing about what happened at its annual general assembly held today (23/6) was issued by the APOEL association.
His reference to the amendments to the management agreement of the company stands out, which were approved unanimously, while the president Paris Spanos also spoke about the changes brought by the board of directors.

The Annual General Assembly of the Association was held and completed today, which was held in the Melina Mercouri Hall, next to the Famagusta Gate.
In his report, the President of the Association, Mr. Paris Spanos, first referred to the changes brought about by the Board. at administrative level. Specifically, Mr. Spanos stated that the Offices of the Association were transferred to the House of the Association, as well as the meetings of the Board, thus transforming the House into the administrative center of the Association. An accounting office has also been set up and regular accounting records are now kept. The Board of Directors, during the expired period, covered old debts amounting to € 100,000, while all the debts of the period have been repaid in full.
Afterwards, Mr. Spanos referred to the successes of all the sports departments of the Association and congratulated the leaders of each department for their important contribution to the promotion and advancement of APOELISM in Cypriot society.
Finally, Mr. Spanos stressed the importance of the contribution of each APOELISTA in the effort to restore the Association where its history requires and called on all APOELISTS to contribute financially, each to the best of his ability, in the process of renovation of his House Association.
Subsequently, a presentation was made by the auditors of the Association of the financial statements for the period from 1.1.20 until 31.12.20.
The next issue concerned the ratification by the General Assembly of the proposal of the Board. for the renewal of the Management Agreement of the football department, according to the modifications agreed between the Association and the Company.
According to these amendments, it is ensured that the Association will be informed on a monthly basis regarding the amount of the Company's debts which are transferred to the Association in case of termination of the Management Agreement, while the Company's contribution to the Association in case of its participation is increased. football team in the European Championship Clubs. At the same time, the Company undertakes that from the period 2023-2024 these transferred debts will be reduced by 20% each year.
The General Assembly unanimously approved the proposal of the Board. as described above.
