Bad word for Bosnian injury
The mischief continues at APOEL with Susic missing the rest of the season! After the recent injury of Vijafanes, who will most likely not play again this year, a new problem arises with the Bosnian full-back.
The 32-year-old full-back suffered a meniscus problem in yesterday's derby against Omonia and the fears were confirmed regarding his injury. The football player of the “blue and yellow” in an unsuspected phase in yesterday's match, did not put his foot well and collapsed to the ground.
Today he underwent medical tests and as it turned out… his injury will keep him out of action until the end of the current season.
Now, as things stand, the onus falls on Cebak who will be called upon to fill the Bosnian void. However, the Moroccan had a fairly good absence from the time he spent on the pitch in the match against Omonia, and Vladan Milojevic hopes that Susic's absence will go… unnoticed.
Undoubtedly, APOEL have luck since the Bosnian is the third footballer to be knocked out this season, after Wheeler and Villafanes.
