Kosta stole the show!
Amen finish! It is a fact that Valentin Kostake's first goal with Apollon's shirt was great. He liked both the fact that he did not leave any room for reaction to Vanas Alves, after unleashing a “lightning” inside the area, as well as the exchange of the ball between Abdurrahimi and Marquez, who was credited with the assist.
Against Aris, the footballers of Vladan Milojevic presented themselves even more improved, in relation to the derby against AEL, with the highlight of their entire appearance being the automation of the players who compete from the middle and forward. The Serbian coach has started to make his mark and the first signs of homogeneity have already made their appearance.
Beyond that, however, on an individual level the man who stole the show is none other than the 25-year-old winger. The Romanian football player, apart from the goal, recorded a very good performance in general, as taking advantage of his speed, but also his great ability with the ball at his feet… he created many problems for the opposing defense.
He proved that passion is one of his characteristics, with the most characteristic proof being the 64' phase, where Vana Alves came out the “winner” in the four-on-four between them. After seeing the Brazilian keeper make a save, he himself fell to the ground and “beat” the grass of “Alfamega”!
However, the truth is that this is a footballer who showed from the first moment what he is about it is, as it is no coincidence that he was not in the starting line-up in the last four matches of the Limassol team…
To all of the above, we should add that it seems that in general he is going through a very good period for himself, because yesterday his goal was also the first he scored since November 29, 2021! For the record, he opened the scoring in Cluj's home game against Academia Clincheni for the 17th matchday of the Romanian league (final score 2-0/assisted the second). About two years later, “Kosta”, as he said he prefers to be called, found networks again and appears ready to provide significant help to his new team.
