Since the number of possible opponents that Apollon and AEL will have in the second qualifying round of the Conference League is so high (45), it is normal that the list includes teams αρκετά from several different levels.
It is one of the cases where the draw plays a very important role, as the teams of Limassol can face teams where the chances for qualification will be shared, with teams against which they will be favorites but also with opponents that will make the qualification ( almost) standard procedure.
We remind you that both Apollon and (finally) AEL will be in the strong of the second qualifying round (the blue and whites will be strong in the third) and therefore will be drawn with a team that will be in the weak. There, the theoretically most difficult opponents are the Swiss Servet, Aris Thessaloniki and teams from countries such as Israel, Slovakia and Sweden.
At the opposite end we meet teams from extremely weak leagues, such as San Marino, Malta, Northern Ireland, Andorra and so on.
The draw of the second qualifying round will take place on June 16 and its matches on July 22 and 29.
Due to the fact that the draw of the second round will take place before the games of the first round, it is very likely that our teams will be drawn with pairs of the first round, since out of their 45 possible opponents, only 21 are directly in the second round , while the other 24 (distinguished by an asterisk in the list below) start from the first.
