The Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy is accepting applications to fill the positions of seven scientific associates for the needs of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Cyprus to the EU, in Brussels, in view of the Republic of Cyprus taking over the Presidency of the Council of the EU in the first half of 2026 .
According to an announcement by the Deputy Ministry, “applications will be submitted by sending a Curriculum Vitae and any supporting information, until 05/09/2024 at 12:00 to the email address [email protected] .gov.cy”.
These positions will be filled on a full-time basis, with a contract governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus for private law employees and for a maximum period until July 31, 2026″.

The officers to be selected will be responsible for “representing the Deputy Ministry in the EU institutions, participating, inter alia, in working groups and other preparatory committees as well as monitoring, inter alia, developments in the areas of electronic communications, the digital economy, the internet, the digital single market in Europe and cyber security.
Candidates will be invited to participate in an oral competition, which will take place on a date to be announced in due course.
