Sir Stelios Chatziioannou for the 12th year, awards with the “Stelios Bi-Communal Awards 2022” 20 Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot businessmen with a total of 200,000 euros for their joint business activity and from January 4, 2022, the interested groups can express their interest for participation in the Bicommunal Business Cooperation Awards on the website of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation https://steliosfoundation.com.cy/.
The deadline for submission of applications is March 31, 2022.
As announced in the relevant press release due to the pandemic, the application process will be carried out online through zoom, in order to minimize travel and live meetings.
The Award Ceremony will take place online on Thursday, April 28, 2022, with Sir Stelios Hatziioannou congratulating the winners, via zoom.
It is further clarified that it offers a cash prize of 20,000 euros per bi-communal group – 10,000 euros to each member of the two-member group. Each group should consist of a Greek Cypriot and a Turkish Cypriot businessman, who will be able to prove with evidence that their joint business activity brings financial benefits to the whole island and that the competition is open to Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots whose business , has an annual turnover of at least five thousand euros and employs another person, in addition to the owner.
Evidence of joint venture must also be provided in both communities.
