With time counting down to the elections that will highlight the triperson, this morning the Holy Synod that examined issues concerning the electoral procedure.
Among other things, a proposal by Synod members for change was examined > of the date holding of the archdiocesan elections, however the date on which the elections will take place remains December 18.

Among the decisions of the Holy Synod , is that applications for registration in the Lists of foreigners living in Cyprus will not be accepted due to scheduling reasons. “The elections will be held on December 18 and that does not change,” said the Metropolitan of Paphos.
