On Wednesday afternoon, the police arrested a 25-year-old man years old, suspected of usurping Greek Cypriot property located in the occupied territories of the Republic.
The 25-year-old suspect was arrested pursuant to a court warrant, at Paphos airport, where he had gone to depart for another European country. He was taken into custody and today he is expected to be brought before a Court, for the issuance of an arrest warrant, for the purposes of investigating the case.
A case of fraudulent transactions in real estate belonging to another, illegal possession, prefecture and use of land registered to another, money laundering from illegal activities, and other related crimes.
