The Limassol Police arrested a 29-year-old foreigner today, after a 52-year-old compatriot complained that he attacked him with a knife and stole his car.
According to the 52-year-old, yesterday afternoon he met with the 29-year-old, who was accompanied by a second person, in order to settle a difference between them in relation to the money he had lent him.
When the complainant demanded the money, the 29-year-old allegedly attacked him with the help of the other person and beat him, both with his hands and with a kitchen knife he was holding, slightly injuring him. The 29-year-old then started causing damage to the 52-year-old's vehicle, in which he boarded with his accomplice and they disappeared.
The 52-year-old went to the General Hospital of Limassol with a rash on his chest and after receiving the First Aid, he reported the incident to the Police.
Following information, the 29-year-old was located and arrested this morning, while during interrogation he allegedly admitted his involvement in the case. Following his instructions, the Police located the stolen vehicle, while looking for the details of the person who accompanied him.
