The 34-year-old resident of Limassol was arrested today by the Police, in order to facilitate the investigations regarding an investigated case of car arson.
An arrest warrant was pending against the 34-year-old, which was issued on the basis of testimony obtained against him during the police investigation.
The photo of the 34-year-old was published yesterday by the Police, in order to locate him. Therefore, after his arrest, it is unnecessary to continue publishing his photo and personal information.
The case of the car arson was committed on the morning of January 21, 2022. A few minutes before 6 p.m. A fire broke out in a car owned by a 38-year-old woman, which was parked on a street in Limassol. The fire was extinguished by members of the Fire Department, however the car was completely destroyed.
The examinations that followed revealed that the fire was started maliciously.
