Members of the Polemidia Police Station, in the context of preventing burglaries and thefts, especially thefts committed in a specific bakery in Limassol, carried out a coordinated operation last night, outside the said building.
< p> Around one o'clock in the morning today, about ten persons were seen with their faces covered with masks and after entering the premises they started stealing various types of food. With the intervention of members of the Police, the opposition of the three persons was successful. As it was established, it is an 18-year-old and two minors.
The 18-year-old was arrested for an unprovoked crime, while in a subsequent investigation, a purse was found in his possession containing two bags of cannabis weighing approximately six grams. Then, after being accused in writing, he was released, while the two minors were handed over to their parents and are expected to be interrogated later according to the Children's Law.
The Police Station of Polemidion and the Limassol Police Department are continuing the examinations.
