The circumstances under which a 20-year-old motorcycle driver was seriously injured in a traffic accident that occurred yesterday at noon, in Paphos, are being investigated by the Police.
The traffic collision occurred around 2.20 on Tuesday afternoon, at the intersection of Griva Digeni Avenue with Christou Kkeli and Loizou Filippou Streets, where the 20-year-old was riding his motorcycle and under conditions that were being investigated, he collided with a car. 30 years old.
According to the examined data, the 20-year-old motorcyclist, tried to overtake the car driven by the 30-year-old, while the latter tried to turn right to enter Loizou Filippou Street, as a result of which the two vehicles collided.
Members of the Police rushed to the spot for examinations, while the 20-year-old was transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Paphos, where he was found to have cerebral hemorrhage and was kept for treatment in the Intensive Care Unit. His health condition is judged by the treating doctors as serious.
