ATA: "Determinative this week - We will be against these positions"

This week is decisive for the issue of ATA as next Friday the social partners will meet with the minister of labor to give their positions on the compromise proposal that has been submitted.< /p>

Speaking on Radio Proto, the General Secretary of the SEC, Andreas Matsas, said that the next few days are particularly important, while he expressed the hope that the conditions will be created that will lead to the acceptance of the proposal.

He called the fact that a positive step there is an improvement in relation to the percentage, however, there are issues that are not satisfactory, he said.
“We will try until Friday to maximize the possibilities that exist to improve settings,” he added.

Finally, he noted that today there will be a meeting of the four trade unions, while possibly tomorrow or Thursday a pan-union meeting will be held.

By order of the Deputy General Secretary. of PEO, Michalis Papanikolaou reported on the show “Protoselido” that salaries are distributed before the end of the month due to accuracy.

“While we all discuss how to expand the institution of ATA as a very important tool for workers that would help maintain their purchasing power, we come and tolerate employers who took the opportunity to abolish this institution.

He added that, despite its many pre-election declarations, the Government submits proposals that give the employers the right to continue this questioning and in the end to abolish the institution.
