Australia's Keegan Palmer edged out American Tom Shaar today (7/8) at the Paris Olympics to defend in the special landscaped area in Concord Square, the title he won in Tokyo and become the first back-to-back Olympic gold medalist in the men's Park skateboard event.
Palmer impressed on the concrete bowl in an inaugural track full of tricks to take the lead with a score of 93.11, which would eventually prove to be enough as Saar was unable to overtake him on his final run. The Brazilian Augusto Acchio took the bronze medal.
