Seasonal low pressure and an unstable air mass are affecting the region, with the National Weather Service predicting isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Today initially the weather in most areas will be mainly sunny, although in the west and north there will be locally increased cloudiness that later is likely to give isolated rain. In the afternoon and afternoon, clouds that will develop, will give isolated rains and isolated storms mainly in the mountains and in the eastern half of the island.
