DISY president Averof Neophytou launched a fierce attack against AKEL and the Democratic Party while speaking on the show Insider on Active.
Speaking to Socrates Joachim and Mario Rousso, Mr. Neophytou said that the problem of corruption in Cyprus did not arise from the issue of naturalization, but pre-existed and that he assumes his share of responsibility as president of the largest party in Cyprus.
He accused AKEL that on the one hand it did not respect in the past the Court's convictions against its members and on the other hand that it protested against corruption after the Al Jazeera documentary where its main protagonist was a member of parliament.
