Bank of Cyprus: New reward program for 20,000 consistent borrowers amounting to €3 million.

In a statement, it says it will reward members of the scheme who maintain a mortgage and have been consistent in their repayment schedule.</p> <p>As it says, the aim of the scheme is to support consistent borrowers, who have been affected by the previous increases in European Central Bank (ECB) interest rates and Euribor.</p> <p>Through the new program, in January 2025, the Bank will allocate a total of 3 million euros in reward points, through the corresponding Card Reward Scheme. The points will be redeemable for purchases at the hundreds of merchants participating in the Reward Card Reward Scheme.</p> <p>The benefit of rewarding consistent borrowers – members of the Pronomia program is multidimensional, as it strengthens the purchasing power of individuals and, on the other hand, indirectly supports the Bank's business customers who participate in the reward program, it is noted in the announcement.</p> <p>The program will be available exclusively to customers enrolled in the Pronomia Rewards Scheme. For example, consistent borrowers in the Diamond and Gold levels of the Pronomia program will receive €250 in reward points per €100,000 of loan balance.</p> <p>Approximately 20,000 customers of the Bank will benefit with loans totaling €1, 2 billion.</p> <p>To be eligible for the scheme, customers must be enrolled in the Pronomia Rewards Scheme and have a floating rate mortgage with a reference to the ECB's base rate or Euribor, secured by their main residence. If they have not already done so, they must be enrolled in the Pronomia Rewards Plan by November 30, 2024 and belong to the Diamond and Gold tier of the program.</p> <p>In addition, customers must not have undergone a special arrangement in any of their facilities from September 30, 2022 and until December 31, 2024, while the loan must have been serviced on June 30, 2024 and remain serviced until December 31, 2024.</p> <p>The Director of Retail Banking Department Theodosis Theodosiou, commented that “at Bank of Cyprus, we recognize the challenges our customers face. With the introduction of this new Rewards Program, we want to show them our appreciation and help them in their everyday life. This initiative demonstrates once again our commitment to providing tangible benefits to our customers, for whom appreciation is a given and unceasing”.</p> <p>The Bank of Cyprus had also rewarded its consistent customers in 2023 with a corresponding Program amounting to 2.2 million euros.</p> <p> <iframe style= < iframe width='300px' height='500px' src='https://www.adstorebluebird.cy/api/banner/ServeBanner?zoneId=2734' frameborder='0' scrolling='no'>
