Scientific Concert at the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation

The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation is hosting on Wednesday 7 June the first scientific concert held in Cyprus, opening a window to musical interaction.

The originality and basic principle of the scientific concert “Beyond the Melodies” /”Beyond the Melodies”, is the combination of live musical performance and augmented reality in order to create an attractive and educational experience for the audience. Movement and muscle activity data of the musicians will be collected and analyzed in real time, while spoken explanations will contribute to their further understanding.

At the concert, the digital double of the musician himself will be projected on a large screen along with a simultaneous presentation of the “musculoskeletal” parameters that the musician experiences during the live performance.

Thus, the audience will enjoy a live music experience. performance and at the same time through innovative interactive technologies, he will get to know better the physical challenges that professional musicians undergo.
