In the last 24 hours, the Police, in the context of 2,948 inspections carried out throughout Cyprus, made complaints from 21 citizens and two responsible officials for non-compliance with the measures against COVID-19.
According to a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, 1,429 checks were carried out in Nicosia, during which 12 citizens were reported.
In Limassol, 273 inspections were carried out, which resulted in 4 complaints from citizens and the person in charge of a property. In Larnaca, 506 inspections were carried out, and there were 2 complaints from citizens.
In Paphos, 169 inspections were carried out, which resulted in 2 complaints from citizens and the person in charge of a property.
In Famagusta, 330 inspections were carried out, which resulted in a citizen complaint, while in the Morfos area, 120 inspections were carried out without any complaint.
The Traffic Police carried out 121 inspections throughout Cyprus, from which no complaints emerged.
