In the portfolio of the Thanos group Hotels includes the historic Berengaria hotel, which, according to the recent update from the owner company bbf, will be operational in 2026.
At this stage Thanos Hotels group has an advisory role in the strategic planning of the hotel while it has also taken over the role of technical services, in collaboration with the owner company bbf and the architects of the project Maria Akkelidou Architects LLC.
With the opening of the hotel, Thanos Hotels will be the company that will manage the operation of the hotel. The group's portfolio already includes the luxury hotels Anassa, Almyra Annabelle and Amyth in Mykonos.
With the management of Berengaria, the Thanos Hotels group invests essentially in a different type of tourism, that of inland and mountainous regions.
As the CEO of the group, Thanos Michaelidis, said during the press conference for the presentation of the project, tourism is changing and visitors are now asking for new experiences, which shows that it is the moment to highlight mountainous Cyprus and winter tourism.
