The opinion that nothing ended in terms of qualification was expressed by the coach of Omonia Henning Berg after the 2-0 defeat by Dinamo Zagreb in the first game for the second round of the Champions League.
The Norwegian said that his team was competitive and that the opponent was better but not so much, noting that the replay will be a new game and sending the message that the greens will fight for the overthrow and qualification.
In detail what he said:
“It is always disappointing to lose 2-0. We lost to a team that is better than we thought. We showed that we are competitive, we lost but there is still one game.
In some phases of the race we did some very good things, in others we could have done better. But we did well. The score is difficult, but we were competitive and we see the replay.
We faced a team that plays at a high level and in these games a lot of energy is needed. For some reason we were not 100% ready and that showed in the end.
The opponent was better but not so much better. “Nothing is over, the replay is a new game.”
