From those who excelled in Apollo summer training
Apollonas played seven friendlies this summer, five of which were televised. A football player who left positive impressions by showing relative stability in all matches is Besart Abdurahimi. The experienced midfielder played mainly on the left wing of the attack and stood out for both his energy and quality. It was, for example, certain actions that caused problems out of nowhere for the opposing defenses, while his transfers were also quite dangerous.
The former international ace was actually introduced to us last season when, although he was not a starter… and irreplaceable in Paphos, he managed to stand out positively, even playing a decisive role in achieving important results. It is also noteworthy that he can play in all positions of attack and although the Romanian coach used him mainly as a left winger, he is certainly well aware that he has a multi-tool in his hands.
In conclusion, Abdurrahimi showed to be in a mood to distinguish himself in his new team, but it is understood that some friendly and other official matches. However, the blue-white footballer has the required experience, as well as quality to offer and it is up to him to continue from where he left off in the summer training, where with his performances he raised the bar of expectations even more.
