Blink-182's new track is here
Blink-182 have already seen most of their 2023 world tour sold out, and have a new album in the works for next year
For those who grew up in the late 90s and early '00s, news of Blink-182 reuniting with their classic line-up—namely, Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker—turned into a little nostalgic trip back in time (we, again, (we asked ourselves if pop punk lives on, and the answer was yes).
Blink-182, then, have already seen most of their 2023 world tour tickets sold out, while they have aria for next year and a new album, which according to Delonge will be “the best of their career”.
To set the stage, Blink-182 have now released the first teaser single , the track 'Edging'.
It was produced by their drummer, Travis Barker, who said of the new track: “I wanted to think as a listener, what I would like to feel and at the same time, to thinking as a band member, what we wanted to do and most importantly, how the production would sound good in 2022.”
Mark Hoppus, in turn, said: “I'm so happy to be back in the studio to make new music and I'm looking forward to the massive world tour.”
