Over 40 takeaways and restaurants, including KFC, Pizza Hut and McDonald's have signed up to the new service.
10 May 2023 – Bolt, the first European hyper-app offering mobility services across Europe and Africa, announces the extension of food delivery, also after 23:00 at night. Customers can now order food from Bolt Food until 02:00 AM. as throughout the week. The service was introduced after the super-app saw an increase in demand for late-night food orders.
According to data from Bolt, late night food orders have increased by an average of 23% since the start of 2023, with Friday night seeing the biggest increase for Cypriot customers.
Nicosia and Limassol trial
The late night service will now be available from a select number of late night restaurants across the city, including KFC, Pizza Hut and McDonalds.
Kamran Samadli, Country Manager of Bolt Food in Cyprus, said: “We introduced this service after noticing significant changes in the way our customers order food. Cyprus is an important market for us and we want to ensure that our customers are happy and satisfied with our service”.
“For now, this service will only be available in selected partner restaurants, but if the trend continues and we see success, then we hope to expand it to all our restaurants soon, he added.
Bolt has been operating in Cyprus since 2018 and currently offers ridehailing and food delivery services.
