Brewery without permission: She was locked…

The Famagusta District Court issued a temporary injunction today to suspend the operation of the premises, following a request submitted by the Police, in connection with a case of operation of the premises and sale of alcoholic beverages, without permission from the competent Authority.

It is a brewery in the area of Ayia Napa, where during an inspection by members of the Famagusta OPE, both on 02 and 04 August, it was found that the premises was operating without the necessary permission from the competent authority. In addition, it was found that alcoholic beverages were exhibited and sold at the premises, also without the necessary permission from the competent Authority.

Following the filing of a case for trial by the Famagusta District Court, the Police, through the Ayia Napa Police Station, submitted an application to the Court, for the issuance of a decree temporarily suspending the operation of the premises.

After the Court examined the request of the Police, it issued a temporary injunction suspending the operation of the premises until the trial on August 10.
