A burglary with a loot of 100 thousand euros in cash and a men's watch worth 80 thousand euros, is being investigated by the Paphos Police Department in collaboration with the Kouklia police station.
According to the Police, it was reported at 23:45 yesterday by a 41-year-old man who lives permanently in Aphrodite Hills that while he was away from home between 19:00 – 20:00, strangers entered his house and took the amount of money from the safe. 100 thousand euros, a Philips brand men's watch worth 80 thousand euros, as well as the Cypriot ID card with an unknown number.
As it appeared from the examinations, the strangers entered through the closed but unsecured balcony door of the first floor of the house.
The scene has been under guard since yesterday. Members of TAE Paphos went again today to investigate the scene, while there is no insurance coverage for the thefts.
Investigations are continuing in order to locate the perpetrators.
