CABS accuses the United Cypriot Hunters Movement of “systematic dissemination of misinformation”

For “systematic and deliberate dissemination of disinformation” to protect poachers and of silencing environmentalists, the Committee Against Bird Slaughter (CABS) accuses the Movement of United Cypriot Hunters on the occasion of a video released by the Movement, as it states, with the claim that shows member of CABS “harassing” hunters.
CABS, states in a press release that the volunteer in the video “was sitting quietly in a public, non-hunting area near Xylofago waiting for Game and Wildlife Service officers to return from an inspection”, after they had been tipped off that hunters in the area were using illegal calling devices birds, adding that a group of hunters approached her and began filming her without consent or her.
The hunters left immediately after the shoot, knowing that the employees of the Game and Wildlife Service were arriving, it is reported.
