Sponsorship Scheme for the Creation and Enrichment of Health Tourism Facilities and Services, Wellness, Rehabilitation, Accessibility and Autonomous Assisted Living in Hotels and Tourist Accommodations with the aim of Attracting Health and Wellness Tourism was announced by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism following a relevant decision of the Council of Ministers.

Following a relevant Decision of the Council of Ministers, the Deputy Ministry of Tourism announces a Call for applications within the framework of the “Sponsorship Plan for the Creation and Enrichment of Health, Wellness, Rehabilitation, Accessibility and Autonomous Assisted Living Facilities and Tourism Services in Hotels and Tourist Accommodations with the aim of Attracting of Health and Wellness Tourism”. The Plan will be implemented under Measure C3.1I8 “Strengthening the added value of the tourism sector with an emphasis on the countryside, as well as mountainous and remote areas” of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RESP) of Cyprus and will be financed by the Recovery Mechanism and Resilience of the European Union (EU) to become in their entirety accessible and friendly to people with any type of disability.
The total amount that will be allocated for the needs of this announcement amounts to €5,000,000.
Those interested can secure the final Plan Guide as well as the Application Form from the website of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism www.tourism.gov.cy, section “Incentives and Grants”.
Applications will be accepted until September 29, 2024 and at 12:00 p.m. or until the available budget is exhausted.
