Which certificates will be checked – What the announcement of the Ministry of Transport says
The start of a campaign to control buses that will perform student services from 02/09/2024, based on information from the sponsoring companies about the specific buses that will operate these routes, announced the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Department of Public Passenger Transport.
- What changes in school bus fares
According to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, the checks will concern the following and where it concerns certificates they will be checked that they are valid: Vehicle registration license, vehicle insurance certificate, professional driver's license, certificate of automatic fire extinguishing system, certificate of vehicle maintenance by a licensed technician, visual inspection of the vehicle regarding cleanliness, interior condition of the vehicle (e.g. torn seats), tires and windows. There will also be any other check that falls under the supervisors' service plans, as well as for an M.O.T. certificate. is added.
It is noted that in continuation of last year's requirement that all school buses have a certificate of inspection carried out 3 months before the start date of the school year, all buses will have a certificate with the same conditions, as long as technical inspection is required every 12 months.
