Silver Sponsor at the 9th International Funds Summit & Expo
The promotion of Cyprus as an attractive destination for registration of investment funds is actively supported by cdbbank participating as a silver sponsor at the 9th International Funds Summit & Expo held on October 23 and 24 in Limassol.
With the theme “Insights for 2024 and beyond'', the conference attracted more than 550 industry professionals, economic operators, government officials and representatives of investment funds from various countries abroad. Distinguished speakers presented, among other things, the important investment opportunities that our country offers in the field of investment funds, the new perspectives that are opening up for the Cypriot economy as well as all the developments concerning the regulatory framework.
The event was organized for the 9th consecutive year by the Cyprus Investment Funds Organization (CIFA) and the Invest Cyprus Organization and was held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides and the Cyprus Capital Market Commission.
As part of the conference, attendees had the opportunity to visit cdbbank's exhibition space, talk to its experienced and specialized executives and learn about the financial services it offers in the field of investment funds and asset management.
In his statement, Mr. Michalis Michail, Head of International Banking at cdbbank, referred to the modern challenges that the investment funds sector is called upon to face, such as the unpredictable geopolitical developments, the need for digital transformation as well as the legislative framework , which, as he said, needs improvement with the aim of further developing the sector in Cyprus.
