Urgent emergency meeting tomorrow morning, called by the Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority. The situation will be reviewed following the irrevocable position of the Electricity Authority trade unions, not to put the six steam boilers in Dekelia into operation.
The measure announced by the EAC trade unions, in the context of claiming the of their requests, will come into force from next Wednesday.
At the meeting, actions will be planned to deal with the problems that will arise.
Speaking to RIK, the deputy system management representative of transport, Rogeros Tabakis, emphasized that the possibility of cuts in the electricity supply is very high, especially from six in the afternoon to nine in the evening.
