Many have expressed concern about the health of Queen Elizabeth after her coronavirus disease, but also about the monarchy itself.
Wondering what happens if the queen does not is able to perform her royal duties.
There is of course relevant legislation which provides that if the Queen is forced to suspend her official duties due to illness or because she is abroad, two or more “advisers” may act on her behalf.
These advisers are none other than the first four successors on the blue bloods list. In turn, Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry and Prince Andrew.
