The death of the unknown man, whose body was found charred in a vehicle in the area of Anarita near the Recruit Training Center, was caused by a firearm, and therefore the Police are investigating a premeditated murder.
The necropsy on the body of the unknown man was completed by the medical examiners Dr. Angeliki Papetta and Orthodox Orthodox and in the presence of Marios Matsakis for the family, however, his identification, according to the Police, is not ready.
According to the forensic examination, the death of the unknown man came from three injuries to the abdomen caused by a firearm. It is not clear whether the death came from the bullets and then the corpse was burned, or whether the victim was alive when he was handed over to the flames by the perpetrators. Other tests are expected as well as DNA testing to confirm identity.
