Batch of chicken meatballs was recalled from the Cypriot market, where the salmonella microbe, announced the Health Services.

This is the product “Chicken Meatballs Tasty & Soft Chicken FINGER FOOD” deep frozen, under the trade name “Paradisiotis – Delivery to deliciousness”, weighing 800 g, expiry date 24/05/25, batch number 231124, Barcode 5291188000226. The product is available in plastic packaging, airtight .

The announcement clarifies that salmonella was detected in the context of the official controls carried out on the market by the Health Services, who have sampled the most mentioned product and after laboratory tests in the accredited laboratories of the State General Chemistry.

< p data-block-key="2rmr8">It is added that the Health Services “have already informed the company that distributes the food in question on the Cypriot market, with instructions for the immediate recall/withdrawal of all quantities of the particular batch”.

However, because some quantity of the involved lot may already be in the possession of consumers, the Health Services urge those in possession of the referenced siftalies to avoid consuming it and to return the packaging to the places where they were purchased.

Health Services say they are working with Veterinary Services to further investigate the matter.
