China yesterday accused the United States of “cheap political games” backed by Washington in a photo exhibition outside the United Nations headquarters in Geneva with images of dozens of people missing or reportedly being held in Chinese detention camps in Xinjiang.
In a statement to reporters, China's diplomatic mission in Geneva accused Washington of “trying to profit by spreading misinformation about China.” “She has exceeded the rudimentary moral boundaries by attacking others,” the statement said.
“The advice to the United States is to act as a dignified force and invest its resources in improving the well-being and human rights of the American people, rather than violating the human rights of other nations and playing cheap political games.”
