Clarifications regarding the information through written messages of the applicants of the Special Plan for Support of the Unemployed, are given, in an announcement transmitted by the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance.
The Ministry of Labor states that in the context of the responsible information of the applicants in the Special Plans implemented by the Ministry, persons who submitted electronic applications to the Special Plan for Unemployment Support have been informed via text messages about the reasons for rejecting any application submitted by the Ministry. November 2020, December 2020 and January 2021.
He notes that in every message that is sent, the Reference Number of the specific application to which it concerns is always indicated, so that the recipient knows for which month the specific information concerns.
In this context, the Ministry of Labor continues, utilizing modern technology, a written notification has been sent to persons who applied for November and December 2020 informing them that according to the provisions of the Legislation they were not eligible for the respective months as for that The beneficiaries of the period were only persons who had exhausted their normal unemployment benefit during the period from 1/1/2020 to 30/6/2020.
He adds that in November and December 2020, specialized training plans were implemented for these persons by the Human Resources Development Authority and a relevant allowance was provided for those who participated.
According to the Ministry of Labor, for the period January 2021, due to the restrictive measures decided in the light of the spread of the pandemic, it was deemed necessary to be included as beneficiaries in the Special Unemployment Support Scheme and those who had exhausted their regular unemployment on 31/12/2020.
He notes that the unemployed who met the above criteria and had submitted the necessary electronic application for the period January 2021 have received the relevant allowance by transfer to their bank account from 15/2/2021.
He further states that in the same context, information messages have been sent to persons who applied to the Special Unemployment Support Plan but were not beneficiaries as they had not exhausted the normal unemployment during the period, ie received unemployment benefits from the Social Insurance Fund.
He adds that all the informative text messages sent by the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance regarding applications in the Special Plans for dealing with the pandemic, contain in their text the Reference Number of the application for which the information is sent.
Therefore, the Ministry of Labor concludes in its announcement, applicants need to keep the reference number of each application they submit in order to know which application they will be informed about next.
