Low blood pressure affects the area. Thin dust will be suspended in the atmosphere until Tuesday, the concentrations of which may at times be increased.
Today, periods of sunshine will alternate with periods of increased cloudiness that from the afternoon onwards is expected to thicken, while locally it is possible that there will be isolated rain. The winds will blow in the morning northeast to southeast and in the west southwest, weak, 3 Beaufort to become in the afternoon southwest to northwest, generally moderate, 4 Beaufort and temporarily local on the south and north coasts to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become a little turbulent. The temperature will rise to around 19 degrees inland and on the coast and around 9 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy and it is not excluded that locally, mainly in the western half of the island, there may be isolated rain. The winds will blow mainly southwest to west and later locally to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort but initially locally moderate, 4 Beaufort. The sea will generally remain a little turbulent, except on the east coast where it will be calm to a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 7 degrees inland, around 10 on the south and east coasts, around 12 on the west and north coasts and around 2 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost is expected.
< On Tuesday, the weather will gradually become mostly cloudy while in the evening local rains are expected. On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be partly cloudy and at times mostly cloudy and local rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected, mainly from Wednesday afternoon onwards, while in the highest peaks of Troodos it is likely to snow.
The temperature is not expected to change significantly on Tuesday, to fluctuate slightly above the average climatic values, while by Thursday it is expected to drop gradually, to fluctuate below the average climatic values.
