Seasonal low pressure affects the area. The wind field in the coming days will be strengthened at times.
Today, the weather in most areas of the island will be mostly sunny, however, there will be increased local clouds at intervals, especially in the western half of the island. During the midday hours and after, clouds that will develop are expected to give isolated rains, mainly in the mountains, but not excluded in some area of the eastern half. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest, initially light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and gradually moderate to strong and locally strong, 5 Beaufort. Locally on the southern coasts, however, it will temporarily blow up to very strong, 6 Beaufort. The sea will initially be a little rough, but will soon become a little rough to rough. The temperature will rise to around 36 degrees in the interior, around 31 on the west and south-west coasts, around 33 on the rest of the coasts and around 28 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, however there will be locally increased low cloud, particularly in the west and north. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest, light and locally to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will generally remain a bit rough. The temperature will drop to around 22 degrees in the interior, around 24 on the coasts and around 16 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Friday, Saturday and also on Sunday , there will be occasional increased local clouds, which during the midday hours and after, are expected to give isolated rains, especially in the mountains but also in areas in the eastern half of the island. On Saturday and Sunday, isolated storms are expected to occur in these areas.
The temperature until Sunday will remain at the same levels, to continue to fluctuate near at the average climatic values of the season.
