The total number of citizens' complaints by the Police in the last 24 hours for violation of the measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus was increased, with Limassol being in the first place with the largest number of complaints.
Across Cyprus, from yesterday until today at 6.00 in the morning, 124 citizens were reported compared to 97 citizens yesterday. Police also reported three property owners, all three in Paphos.
In his statements to KYPE, a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated that 8,186 checks were carried out in the last 24 hours.
By province, in Nicosia 1,377 inspections were carried out and 15 citizens' complaints were found, in Limassol 1,506 inspections were carried out with 47 complaints of citizens, in Larnaca 1,365 inspections were carried out with 23 complaints of citizens, in Paphos 1,242 inspections were carried out with 21 complaints of citizens and three landlords in A 1,470 inspections were carried out with 18 complaints from citizens and 712 inspections were carried out in the area of Morfos without complaints.
Also, the Traffic Police carried out 457 inspections without any complaints, while MMAD carried out 5 inspections without any complaints.
The Port and Maritime Police carried out 52 inspections from which no complaints emerged.
