Speaking to Politis 107.6 and 97.6, the Greek Cypriot head of the Committee, Dr. Sotos Ktoris, stated that the piece collapsed at about the same place where a piece collapsed two years ago, adding that it was due to their abandonment and non-maintenance. He noted that the most catalytic role may have been played by the heavy winter, combined with the non-maintenance of the walls. He stated that “today is expected a meeting that will take place with the T/C colleagues in the committee where there will be a thorough briefing”.
