The popular actor Ieroklis Michailidis spoke about his childhood, his family and his refugee grandparents in a TV show .
The famous actor was hosted on the show “Life is moments” and referred to the difficulties his family went through, the way he grew up in Australia, as his parents were economic immigrants on the far continent.
As he said, the 32-day voyage on the ocean liner “Patrice” and his parents had the courage and audacity to do so, as it happened.

“My father and my uncle were brothers together, as if they were one – I considered my father and my uncle, I called them both 'dads'”, he said characteristically.
