The Nicosia Water Supply Council, within the framework of its Corporate Social Responsibility, announces the creation of a special Consumer Service Department, which will deal specifically with the updating of consumer data.
Specifically, after the announcement of the Organization for digitization of water intake accounts and listening to the difficulties faced by a portion of consumers, the management of SYL, decided to serve the consumers who wish, by appointment, in order to complete the required digitization process. .
The Special Department of Consumer Service operates at the Head Office of SYL at 84 Athalassas Avenue, in Strovolos on the 1st floor at office 108.
Consumers will be served after making an appointment at 77771090.
Arrival at the said Service Department will be done by presenting a safe pass.
Digitization of accounts
Within the framework of the digital upgrade of the Council, the BoD of the Nicosia Water Supply Council decided to digitize the printed bills sent by post to consumers from September 2022, taking into account the dynamic response of consumers to the digital upgrade of the payment of bills and other payments to the Council.
The largest water provider in Cyprus has already joined the digital age with new services to consumers, with the aim of facilitating them in terms of processing their financial debts and other requests.
From September 2022, consumers will only be notified electronically of their debts, and in particular via email and text messages (SMS), which they will be able to pay with just one click on their mobile phone or via the WBN application Mobile Application, which is available completely free of charge through the App Store and Play Store, or even through the Council website.
It goes without saying that the other methods of payment (by bank transfer, to the banks that are eligible for payments or to the Council funds) will remain available to the public.
