International grain prices had risen dramatically, long before Russia invaded Ukraine, due to the effects of the ongoing pandemic, bad weather in traditional grain-producing regions and the sharp rise in transport tariffs, in less than a month have doubled. Waiting for any help the farmers who have been significantly affected since 70% of cost of meat production depends on feed, they proceed in groups to price increases. The first increases in the market were observed in the price of pork, with pig farmers putting a 10% increase, while another 10% is expected to put next week. In addition, herders and traders of chicken products are expected to announce a 20% increase in the price of chicken in the coming days. Sheep and goat farmers are also increasing the price by 10%. Farmers' circles estimate that these are the first increases and a tsunami of increases is expected afterwards.
