Ways to increase the volume of transactions through the Green Line Regulation were discussed
With Mario Navas, Director General of the Directorate of Structural Reforms, Judit Rozsa, an official in the General Directorate of Structural Reform Support and a delegation of the European Commission met in Brussels the leadership of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce, under its vice-president, Serjian Gürkuner Bakhceci.
As broadcast in the occupied territories, ways to increase the volume of transactions through the Green Line Regulation, EU support programs for the business sector, the problems in transferring money through banks between free and occupied territories, the registration of halloumi as a PDO and other topics were discussed.
The Vice-President of the t/c chamber that the meetings were “very productive” and expressed the belief that progress will be made on the issues discussed with the European Commission.
In the announcement of the chamber added that “the Commission delegation also stated that efforts will be made to make progress by ensuring continued cooperation with the Turkish Chamber of Commerce”.
The Turkish delegation also saw the representative of the pseudo-state in Brussels and the Turkish Permanent Representative, as well as the MEP of Turkish origin, Ilhan Kuciuk, Co-Chair of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE).
