A forest fire was brought under full control, which broke out in the afternoon near Pyrga, Larnaca province.
According to a statement issued by the Forest Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, today, Saturday, at 16:25, a fire broke out near the community of Pyrga in the province of Larnaca, in the area of Lepra.
The fire was brought under control around 16:45, after it burned a small area covered with dry grass. 5 people from the Forest Department attempted to extinguish it with two fire trucks.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
