DIPA and the European Citizens' Network announced their cooperation in the upcoming parliamentary elections in May.
Specifically, the announcement states:
It is with great pleasure that we announce today the official start of our cooperation with the European Citizens Network (EDIPO), which will be represented by the President Mr. Costas Kerlengos on the ballot of the DEMOCRATIC PARLIAMENT – Cooperation of Democratic Forces in , in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Delegations of the DEMOCRATIC DEPARTMENT and the Cooperation of Democratic Forces, received a delegation of the European Network of Citizens at the headquarters of the Democratic Party in Nicosia, where the cooperation was formalized.
The President of the DEMOCRATIC PARLIAMENT, Mr. Marios Karoyan, stated that “the family of DI.PA. is constantly growing and welcomes people with ethos, with a vision for the place, with love for our Cyprus, with an appetite to work with all their strength for the Cyprus that we deserve. “The European Citizens' Network is fighting for a better homeland and in this fight we will be together to fight the inadequacy of our existing political system.”
The European Citizens' Network aspires – according to its declaration – to become “the voice of expression of the large, frustrated and at the same time silent portion of the citizens who inwardly believe that today's Cyprus is not the homeland we deserve”.
All together, as a strong voice and representing the principles and philosophy of the Center, we will fight for the liberation and reunification of our homeland, the promotion of institutional reforms and the claim of a fairer and better society.
