The incredible story of a 56-year-old man from Turkey, who has spent the last fourteen months of his life in isolation, after testing positive for the coronavirus, has recently come to light.

The reason for Muzaffer Kayasan from Turkey, who, according to RT, has been confined to hospitals and his own home for over a year and is desperately looking for a way back to his old life.
After being infected by a coronavirus strain in November 2020, Kayasan was hospitalized until he needed medical help. He overcame the worst symptoms of Covid-19, but the virus remained in his body and every test he underwent since then came out positive, forcing him to remain in isolation, either in the hospital or at home.
Kayasan has leukemia and is immunosuppressed, which doctors say explains why his body continues to host the coronavirus after so long. He has been prescribed drugs to improve his immune system, but the process is long and difficult.
Isolation for so long has virtually ruined Kayasan's social life, rendering him unable to interact with family and friends and allowing him to see his children and grandchildren through a single window. Only his wife and youngest son stayed with him.
“I have no problem here, except that I can not touch my loved ones. It is too difficult. “I can not even get vaccinated because of my condition,” Kaysan told Anadolu Agency.
It is not clear if the 14 months during which he is positive for the coronavirus are a kind of record, but Muzaffer Kayasan is definitely bored and now he is begging the authorities to find a solution to his problem.
