At the final stage are the preparations for the delivery of the new Limassol stadium, ahead of the inauguration, by the President of the Republic, the day after tomorrow, Friday, November 25.
< p>In the morning, journalists, sportswriters and cinematographers had a meeting at the new stadium, which bears the name “Alfamega Stadium“, with the President of the KOM, Andreas Michailidis and other officials, in order to make the necessary arrangements for the best possible coverage of the opening night.
As mentioned, about 500 people have been invited to the ceremony. The program will include a speech by the President of the Republic and the President of the CMO, followed by an artistic program and the screening of a related video.
Meanwhile, the works for the first phase of the road network are also in full progress, which, as the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Yiannis Karousos, recently told the Cyprus News Agency, will be completed on December 7. According to him, the B' phase of the road network project is expected to be completed in June 2023, while the C' phase, which will be the last, is expected to be delivered in October 2023.
